The Eastern New York Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association and its Board of Directors mourn the loss of our Chair, Brian Noel on September 14, 2024.
The Chapter awarded two recipients with 2025-26 Brian S. Noel Memorial Scholarships in August 2025. The inaugural winners of the Brian S. Noel Memorial Scholarships were Jocelyn Mack (SUNY Cobleskill Environmental Management '28) and Owen Blakesley (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Mechanical Engineering '29) who received their scholarships in August 2025. A huge thank you to Sabic for their contribution to the 2025-26 scholarship fund.
Shortly after his passing, the ENY AWMA Board made a contribution in honor of Brian and in recognition to his tireless efforts to improve the environment.
