We are a professional non-profit association of engineers and scientists with a particular focus on air and waste environmental issues.  The Mission of A&WMA is to assist in the professional development and critical environmental decision-making of our members to benefit society.                                         

The core purpose of A&WMA is to improve environmental knowledge and decisions by providing a neutral forum for exchanging information. 

Thank you for your interest in joining the Eastern New York Chapter of A&WMA.  We offer three types of memberships: National, Corporate, and Local.

National member:  These are members who have paid their annual dues to the National Branch of A&WMA.  National members get all the benefits of A&WMA (see www.awma.org for more details) plus receive the local member discounts. 

Corporate membership: With this membership your company's logo is displayed on the home page of this website as well as all news letters.  Also, all employees of your company are considered "local members" and receive the discounted meeting rate.  Corporate membership is $150.  After joining, please email your logo to awmaneny@gmail.com along with the list of individual names you would like to be included.

Local Members:  Local members are charged $25 annual dues (good from January 1st through December 31st) and are subject to the monthly membership discounts.

Student Members:  Student members (must have valid ID are charged $5 annual dues (good from January 1st through December 31st) and are subject to the monthly student membership discounts ($5/lunch).
